Coalition for Asian American Children and Families
Coalition for Asian American Children and Families (CACF) is the nation’s only pan-Asian children and families’ advocacy organization bringing together community-based organizations as well as youth and community allies to fight for equity for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs).
Project overview:
CACF continues its advocacy for disaggregated ethnicity data for Asian and NHPI New Yorkers and all New Yorkers. Through this grant, CACF will prioritize engagement with NYS agencies with the aim of ensuring that all 20 agencies expected to collect and report Asian and NHPI ethnic subgroup data according to the NYS Asian and NHPI Data Disaggregation Law. CACF is also focused on leading our Invisible No More Campaign to adovcate for successful passage of Int 1134 in the NYC Council. We are committed to broadening the coalition for disaggregated ethnicity data to include as many communities and New Yorkers as possible.
