Project overview:

EPIC’s work will focus on the full implementation of OMB’s Directive 15, which required the disaggregation of NHPI data from the larger “Asian” category, as well as updated OMB standards for race and ethnicity data collection for other groups. EPIC plans to reconvene and expand the coalition that created its 2014 Policy Blueprint, draft an updated Blueprint assessing the current federal NHPI data disaggregation policy and implementation landscape, and launch an advocacy campaign to develop a national framework and federal agency alignment on collection of disaggregated data for NHPI communities.
