The Data Disaggregation Action Network (DDAN) is a growing movement of community-based organizations calling for their communities to be seen and reflected in official public data. These resources on the importance of data disaggregation for race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender identity data collection have been created by DDAN network partners to help advance the cause of fair, accurate, and complete representation in data collected and reported by government agencies at all levels.

As part of the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities’ Beyond the Basics program, conducted a training for hundreds of enrollment assisters nationwide on how to leverage new SOGI nondiscrimination protections and SOGI data collection opportunities to build trusting, effective relationships with LGBTQ+ consumers and help them access the coverage and care they need.
