Southeast Asia Resource Action Center (SEARAC)

SEARAC is a national civil rights organization that builds power with diverse communities from Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam to create a socially just and equitable society.

Project overview:

In order to ensure appropriate implementation of Assembly Bill 1726, which mandates health data disaggregation for further AANHPI groups under the CA Department of Public Health, SEARAC will convene, strategize, and execute advocacy with stakeholders including state and local agencies, policymakers, statewide and community-based organizations, and data experts.
