Southeast Asia Resource Action Center (SEARAC)

SEARAC is a national civil rights organization that builds power with diverse communities from Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam to create a socially just and equitable society.

Project overview:

Building on their win passing Assembly Bill 1726, which mandates health data disaggregation for a fuller set of AANHPI groups under the California Department of Public Health, SEARAC will advance implementation of existing laws, collaborate with governments & stakeholders to address current challenges, and educate diverse communities on how disaggregation can improve health outcomes for all Californians.
